If you’re like us you quilt to have an excuse to collect fabric! In 1996 I wanted a really big excuse so I opened Pennington Quilt Works, a retail shop in Pennington, NJ. We had fewer than 800 bolts on opening day and have grown to nearly 4000 bolts of fresh new beautiful fabric. We get in new fabric almost every day, so it is always worth a trip.
Customers tell us we have a very special collection of fabric. We tend toward beautiful designer florals, with lots of secondary prints and blenders to support them. We also love batiks, beautiful backgrounds, reproductions and fun kids things.
Our new location is also very special: Our new store is light filled and arranged for you to find new inspiration. Not only that but we have a beading shop on the other side. You and your friends could spend all day!
If you do come to see us, you’ll find a part of NJ you didn’t know existed. Pennington is a small town, surrounded by farmland, open spaces, and lovely neighborhoods. Princeton is our fascinating neighbor and we have easy access to Philadelphia, New York and the shore area.
