Do you need something special to add to your Easter baskets? With Easter just around the corner, I wanted to incorporate something quick and easy to add a little something extra to the Easter baskets I’m putting together for my brother’s children. I didn’t want to just put their candy and treats in the basket, it looked so plain. So I came up with three Easter bunnies using a washcloth to hide chocolate treat or Easter eggs in their bellies. These bunnies would also be cute to make for baby shower favors or as boo boo bunnies when you need to put ice on a boo boo.
At Walmart and Target, I found different types of washcloths. They also had standard washcloth in the kitchen area and baby washcloths in the baby area. If you want to make a softer or smaller version, I recommend you use the baby washcloths.
Bunny # 1 – Pouch on the side
Bunny # 2 – Pouch on the Top
Bunny # 3 – Pouch in the Center
Each bunny starts off the same way but there are few minor differences to make each one unique. After each washcloth is folded, I will show you how to put on the finishing touches with adding the eyes, nose, bows and tails.
So let’s make Easter Bunnies that will make our Easter basket extra special this year!
